The kind of person I’d recommend this book to:
I would recommend this book to somebody who likes mysterious and slightly weird stories. Although this book has many dark themes, Neil Gaiman manages to incorporate humor into the novel, making it enjoyable for somebody who has a quirky sense of humor. They should, of course, also enjoy ghost stories, as that is a heavy and consistent theme throughout the book.

Go Ask Alice is about a teenage girl who finds herself struggling through the life of a teenager. To try and fix her problems, she surrounds herself with other teenagers involved in drugs, alcohol and many other issues. This does not end well for “Alice”, she finds herself drifting away from her loved ones and that leads Alice to take severe actions.

Alex has a passion for writing, when his teacher Ms. Dovecott helps him in his writing, Alex begins to fall for her. It just so happens that Ms. Dovecott was there the day of Thomas’s death, and is against Glenn’s secrecy and wants to tell the truth.

I would recommend this book to someone who is into mystery. Also, I think someone who would like this book would have to be around the ages of 14-18, and they would have to be into romance.

The kind of person I’d recommend this book to:
One quality the reader should probably have is that they like suspense. They should also like constantly changing books that can surprise you. The final quality should be that they in interested in history.
