Finished book review by: Sawyer

Book written by: Markus Zusak
Total number of pages: 357

Genre: Mystery
My rating: *****, it was amazing

A brief summary of my book:
Ed Kennedy is a underage cabdriver without much of a future, and spends most of his life in the depths of obscurity. But after Ed inadvertently stops a bank robbery, a playing card (specifically an ace) arrives in the mail containing three addresses. As the aces continue to arrive, Ed is asked to do something to improve the lives of the people that he finds through the guidance of the aces, and in the process makes not only a difference within his community but also finds himself and his true purpose in life.

What I thought about this book:
I gave I Am the Messenger a 5-star rating based on its engrossing mix of suspense, comedy, and intense emotion. Zusak combines these three elements to create a story that people of all ages can appreciate and take inspiration from.
