The Lovely Bones: my review

Finished book review by: Madi

Book written by: Alice Sebold
Total number of pages: 328

Genre: Mystery
My rating: ***, liked it

A brief summary of my book:
Susie Salmon is dead when the book starts. She tells the story from her point of view looking down from her heaven. She talks about what heaven is like and watches as her dad finds out who her killer is.

What I thought about this book:
I liked the story because it was a very interesting plot. The idea that she has her own heaven and that it expands when she thinks of something she wants. I didn’t think the wording was very good in other parts of the story and some ideas don’t seem to fit with the story. However, the ending is very good.
